NYC | Faith Evans & Notorious B.I.G. feat. Jadakiss

I'm sure I've said this before on this site, but it bears repeating again, I typically despise when songs are released by singers/rappers after they've died.  It just feels weird and almost like someone is trying to capitalize off of the death of someone.  Just a strange scenario, but that could just be me.  So obviously, I approached the song with a side eye and I didn't feel the way I felt after hearing Jeezy's All There featuring the deceased Bankroll Fresh.  The whole vibe of the song doesn't give me any indication that it's a Biggie song and the hook just sounds kind of corny.  I would have much preferred Faith just came through with a classic R&B album and leave Biggie resting in peace.   Instead, she is releasing an entire album of Biggie collabs. Needless to say, I'll be surprised if I ever give this entire album a listen.  There was another track from the project also released and I didn't even make it one minute on that song.
