I'm the One | DJ Khaled feat. Justin Beiber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper & Lil Wayne
So DJ Khaled (nor Asahd) is not going anywhere anytime soon. He's gearing up for the release of his new album Grateful with the release of this new single, which follows up the Shining release. The song is alright...a cool, catchy song. I was kind of expecting more with all the hype that he was building behind the track. As expected, Chance has my favorite verse on the song. It may just be me, but Khaled's albums never really do it for me. There will usually be a couple songs that I like, but it's like with the type of artistry that he's able to conjure up for these albums, I always finish listening expecting so much more. It's like these artists like to look out for Khaled by appearing on the songs, but nobody's ever really giving their best. Between marketing and promotions, he always finds a way to keep his music out there and his buzz going so I don't expect anything different for this song, especially with the caliber of artists appearing on the track, but I can't say that it'll be in heavy rotation around here.
