Jump | French Montana x Travis Scott
I love how Travis Scott leaves his imprint on just about every track that he's own. The production on the track is right up his alley, so much so, that I initially thought he was responsible for it. The sound is a little different for French, a little more mellow, but he handled it okay. I like Travis' parts on the track more than French, but like I said, he hasn't done much of this type of style, at least from what I've heard. With his new album Jungle Rules being released today, I'm still getting through my first listening session. I must admit and say that I've only ever gotten into a few of French Montana's songs and from what I've heard of the album so far, I don't think that will be changing. This track is indicative of how a lot of his songs are for me. They seem to have potential and to almost be there, but they just don't do it for me. The album is full of features so I'm sure I'll find a few gems, but even with one of my faves on a track, I'm left feeling indifferent by the time the track is done.
