Everywhere | Chloe x Halle
I usually try not to review songs from the same album so closely but this new project from the sister duo is so dope, I had to do a write up for those that are still sleeping on the podcast episodes. (Click here to hear the review of the song "Hi Lo"). I mean, I've thought they were dope since I first heard them, but finally getting this official studio album elevated them in my mind. Obviously being signed to Beyonce's Parkwood Entertainment says a lot and you can certainly hear the Queen's influence on their music. This song was another standout for me, and a lot of it has to do with how they approach the track. They're giving lots of harmony and production changes and I can hear the growth in the music from their first few releases. Their album, The Kids Are Alright, is a dope body of work, and I think they'll be around for a while if they keep making music like this.
