in my head | Ariana Grande
Ok then Trapiana. If you get that reference, salute! After a couple single releases, Ariana Grande releases her second album in less than 6 months, Thank You, Next this past new music Friday. I did get a chance to listen to the entire project and it’s actually a pretty cool album. Definitely a lot of replay value. When the production on this song kicks in, I was intrigued and was pretty much sold. The song doesn’t sound as “trappish” as “7 Rings” and that’s a good thing, in my opinion, but it has just enough thump to it. The song, like a lot of her music is catchy and the content is relatable. This track is pretty representative of what you can get from some of the other songs on the album, but she mixes it up by giving us some slower/pop sounds as well. She seems to stay in the headlines lately, but hopefully after this release, the topics will change to how people are feeling about the album, which I think for the most part will be good things.
